Presentation Wrist Watches

A presentation watch is something that can be handed or 'presented' to an individual - usually in a public setting. These watches come in a special wood box that 'dresses up' the gift and has an engraving plate on top where a sentiment or retirement wording is engraved. This leaves the watch to be personalized with a name and some words that are brief, focused and pointed.  

Mechanical pocket watches

You can easily recognize a mechanical pocket watch - if you can see the parts of the movement (gears etc) then it is a mechanical pocket watch. A mechanical pocket watch needs to be wound every day or two - unlike a quartz watch witch uses a battery and does not need winding, only a replacement battery every year or so.
